Payment Policy
At Axelic we aim to make checkout simple, secure, and effortless, so you can focus on choosing the styles you love. This page explains which payment methods we accept, how and when you are charged, and how we keep your details safe. If anything is unclear, our team is happy to help at info@axelic.com.

The full list of available methods is always shown at checkout. If a method appears at checkout that is not listed here, the methods shown at checkout are the ones that apply to your order.
Currency and surcharges
All prices are displayed and charged in British Pounds (GBP). We do not add any surcharge or extra fee for using any of our payment methods. The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay, with the exception of any network or transaction fees that apply to Bitcoin or bank transfer payments, which are explained below.
Payment security
Your privacy and security matter to us. Our website is secured with SSL encryption, and card payments are processed by trusted, PCI DSS compliant payment providers. Your full card details are never stored on our servers. For added protection, card payments may require Strong Customer Authentication, such as a 3D Secure verification step with your bank, before they are approved.
When you are charged
For card and digital wallet payments, your selected payment method is charged once your order is confirmed at checkout. In some cases a temporary authorisation may appear on your account before the final charge is settled. This is a standard banking process and is not a separate charge. Your order is dispatched once payment has been received in full, as set out in our Shipping Policy.
Card and Apple Pay payments
Card payments and Apple Pay are processed instantly through our secure checkout. Please make sure the billing details you enter match the details held by your bank or card provider, as a mismatch is the most common reason a payment is declined.
Bitcoin payments
We accept Bitcoin as an alternative payment method. When you choose to pay in Bitcoin, the amount due is calculated as the GBP value of your order at the time of payment. Please note the following:
- Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Once a payment is confirmed on the blockchain, it cannot be cancelled, reversed, or charged back.
- Any network or transaction fees charged by the blockchain are your responsibility and are separate from the order total.
- You are responsible for sending the correct amount to the correct wallet address shown at checkout. We cannot recover funds sent to an incorrect address.
- Where a refund is due, it will be issued as the original GBP value of your order, paid by an alternative method where Bitcoin is not practical, so that you are not exposed to currency fluctuations.
If you would prefer the protections that come with a card payment, we recommend choosing one of our card options instead.
Bank transfer payments
If you choose to pay by bank transfer, you will receive our bank details and a unique payment reference after placing your order. Please note the following:
- Your order is reserved for you but is only processed and dispatched once we have received and cleared your payment, which usually takes 1 to 3 business days after the transfer is made.
- Please include the payment reference provided, so that we can match your payment to your order without delay.
- If we do not receive your payment within 7 calendar days, your order may be cancelled and any reserved items released.
- Bank transfers do not offer the same chargeback protection as card payments.
Payment issues
If you experience any issue during checkout, please first check that your billing information matches the details held by your payment provider. If you still need help, contact us at info@axelic.com and we will be glad to assist.
Fraud prevention
To maintain a secure shopping environment, all transactions are subject to verification. If any unusual activity is detected, we may contact you to confirm your order before it is processed. This protects both you and us against fraudulent use of payment details.
